INCONEL® 718 UNS N07718
Precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy designed for applications requiring high mechanical strength, temperature resistance, fatigue resistance and structural stability in severe environments.
High mechanical strength for extreme conditions
INCONEL® 718, UNS N07718, is a nickel-chromium superalloy designed to operate under extreme temperature and mechanical stress conditions.
Its precipitation hardening allows a very high combination of mechanical strength, fatigue resistance and structural stability, maintaining reliable performance up to approximately 650-700 °C.
It is a common material in aerospace, energy, nuclear and oil & gas sectors when critical components with high structural reliability are required.
Strength, fatigue resistance and thermal stability
INCONEL® 718 is used when the part must retain strength, dimensional stability and reliability under loads, temperature and demanding environments.
High mechanical strength
Good structural performance even under severe conditions.
Fatigue resistance
Suitable for components subjected to thermal or mechanical cycles.
Oxidation and corrosion
High resistance to oxidation and corrosion in service.
Good weldability
Better weldability compared with other superalloys.
